Our Centre

The HEART centre is set in 50 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside, just minutes from Junction 10 on the M25. The centre provides a natural environment for humans and horses to work together.

We offer an exciting and diverse range of personal healing and discovery, business workshops and professional training programmes. We also have the facilities to support more challenging conditions, ranging from Children with emotional difficulties to adults seeking addiction therapy.

We now have permission for an indoor facility to work indoors, but it's outside where we find the best work happens. Out in the natural environment which we are fortunate to have in an abundance.

We have a private indoor classroom that seats 12-15 comfortably. We have a treatment room for individual sessions.

We are fully Licensed with Guildford Borough Council and we are Insured by Ravenhall Risk Solutions Ltd.

Our Herd

The centre strives to provide a natural environment for the horses. We ensure that, not only do we care for the physical well being of the horses, but their psychological and emotional welfare as well. We allow the horses to be horses as well as individuals and we pride ourselves on this.

The horses live out in a herd which creates a natural social dynamic between them. When the horses come in, they can snooze in good size stables which have low walls so that they can still see and socialize with each other. We believe this is why we have no stable vices.

The horses are fed a natural diet, with no molasses or animal by products. These are easier for the horses to digest than more conventional feeds. as a horse in the wild would be constantly grazing, not eating at set times, the horses here are offered adlib hay. This more natural approach to feeding helps promote a healthy digestive system and in turn a happier horse.

The Centre does not immediately discount conventional therapies and treatments, but rather embraces those that are in the best interest of the horse while incorporating natural therapies and treatments as well.

The horses are barefoot if this suits their feet, but they are shod by our experienced farrier if the horses are more comfortable like this. We take regular worm counts and if needed the horses are given chemical wormers when needed. Conventional veterinary treatment is offered by the vets that understand the use of natural therapies and work with us to provide the best environment for helping the horse overcome ailments. We treat the horses as a whole animal and take into account what might be going on in the horses mind or body to cause the symptoms.

Over all we aim to be as natural as possible without taking away the horses choice, rather we work with them to find out what suits them as an individual.
